This fishing port, 11 km from the capital, offers a huge beach almost deserted, which makes it the favorite of the inhabitants of Chiclayo. You can see the caballitos de totora (small reed boats) on which the fishermen brave the ocean. Nice walk along the coast. Here, you can find very good restaurants, try the Tienda del Pato, more secluded and with nice tables on the sea (2nd malecòn, next to the capitaneria).
