Starting from Otavalo, a horseback ride allows to cross wonderful landscapes. The other lagoon is Huarmicocha, located south of the previous one. It is located at about 3,696 m. Finally, the third is Yanacocha, also called the black lagoon (laguna negra), is located east of the other two and at the foot of the Yanaurco mountain, which is reflected in its waters giving them a dark color.
