A few hundred meters after Lajes, this village deserves a stop for its good restaurant of traditional cuisine. Fazenda is also known for its fertile soils, and the local population is mainly involved in agriculture and animal husbandry associated with the dairy industry. Since 1919, production has been operating in the form of a cooperative. In 1950, it was renamed Senhor Santo Cristo Dairy Farming Cooperative. In 1968, it adopts new technologies and processes to produce a variant of São Jorge cheese. At the time, it was considered a pioneer in the field and was later reproduced by other producers.
