A pretty little village whose Nossa Senhora dos Remédios church, with its beautifully painted ceiling, dates back to 1778. Enjoy a stroll along the river to discover the still-intact mechanisms of ancient mills. A river whose continuous flow has always been a great advantage, but also a threat, as it has been so difficult to create bridges capable of withstanding the torrents that flow through it. Fajãzinha offers some of the most beautiful sunsets on the island. The miradouro do Portal offers a beautiful view of the village, as does the Craveiro Lopes miradouro a little higher up.
