This small, cosy restaurant in the centre of the district owes its name to the owner, it signor Franco, known from early childhood for its character under the name Dar Moschino. The atmosphere is that of a neighbourhood bistro, and it offers good, well-cooked Roman dishes (like the Roman chicken and the guts). Excellent value for money.

The shaded terrace of this establishment is one of the first on the road when you arrive on the banks of the Tiber River. In a charming but very small space, all kinds of pasta are served. A little further, on the same street, a craft glacier sells excellent gelati.

Pimpante and welcoming house near the Vatican Museum, this restaurant offers, as its name suggests, specialities from Abruzzo, including grilled lamb. The restaurant is tiny, and it is practically impossible to lunch in the winter for lack of space.

If you want to eat the best fettuccine in Rome (or even in the world, as it says on the menu), run to this restaurant! This dish of fettuccine with butter and parmesan has a special history, since Alfredo created it after his wife gave birth to their first child, so that she could regain her strength. Since then, it's been a huge success. On the menu: the famous fettuccine, as well as traditional Roman dishes such as fusilloni alla carbonara, rigatoni all'amatriciana and tonnarelli cacio e pepe.
