Surrounded by carob and almond trees and vineyards, this isolated village at 400 m altitude is a favorite with the British. It boasts well-preserved architecture with small stone houses. Anogyra is famous for its pastelli, carob cakes, and its pretty 15th-century Timios Stavros church.
