Charming wooden staircase ideal for observing a large colony of ancient domestic birds in Telegraph Hill Gardens

If you go to Coit Tower, don't miss the famous Filbert Steps, a charming wooden staircase that descends the eastern slope of Telegraph Hill. Beautiful homes are lost in the gardens of rhododendrons, jasmine, roses, and bougainvillea. If you are lucky, you will even see wild green and red parrots in the trees. Formerly domesticated birds, they have formed a large colony and nest high up on Telegraph Hill in the Filbert Steps Hanging Gardens.

Merci Petit Futé d'avoir conseillé cette promenade vers Little Italy. Monter les Fiber steps dans la verdure et les perruches par centaines mangeant les nèfles.
Pretty wooden stairs in the greenery, quiet... A very pretty promenade quite unusual after the towers of the business center!
