Giant greenhouse made of wood and glass in San Francisco housing 5 galleries with an exceptional collection of exotic plants
This giant greenhouse is the oldest building in Golden Gate Park and draws visitors with its imposing but subtle wood and glass architecture, which dates back to 1878. It has five separate galleries, each focusing on highlighting a different ecosystem, from the dense rainforests of Sumatra to the cloud forests of Ecuador. The collection of exotic plants is exceptional. A must-see for nature lovers visiting San Francisco.

When I went to visit Golden Gate Park, I fell on the " conservatory of flowers". Luckily, this day, the entrance is free! As a result, I visited. You can see full of varieties of plants, but also of butterflies in the open air!
The visit is fast and I find the price is a little high compared to what is offered.

Super idée de mettre a l'entrée un panneau avec un parcours des plantes exceptionnelles en fleurs du moment ppur s'amuser à les chercher et ne pas passer à côté.
