Bed & Breakfast located in a historic building of the nineteenth century, offers good value for money
Housed in a beautiful historic 19th-century brick building, this Bed & Breakfast is different from the San Franciscan standard. It has been redecorated with a modern touch, but with sobriety to respect the old building. Its comfort is a guarantee of a pleasant stay. The hotel boasts a charming ambience and a prime location in a very quiet area, but just a stone's throw from the Painted Ladies in Hayes Valley. The continental breakfast is of the highest quality.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights with our two college age sons. We first had a regular room with two double beds. It was my mistake to book this room as a double bed is too small for grown boys to share. The room was small to medium sized with a nice bay window. The bathroom was the smallest bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel with no counter space next to the sink to lay toiletries. The shower was tiny and I hard time moving in it (I weigh 110 lbs). One huge plus was that the hotel upgraded us at no extra cost to a suite with 2 queen beds and a larger bathroom our last night and we were very grateful. The hotel itself is quaint and in a great location just one block away from Alamo Square Park where you can get a wonderful view of the city and two blocks away from good coffee and dining choices on Divisidero St. It’s also just a few block up from the Hayes Valley shopping area and green spaces and other great dining choices.
