Mathilde is a French restaurant located in the SoMa neighbourhood south of Market Street, right next to the Yerba Buena Center. By pushing the door of the restaurant, a story begins: cosy, modern atmosphere, outdoor patio: ideal for a two-way dinner. The map includes classic French cuisine. Like the premises, you will surely spoil yourself with the bucco or verbal osso, but one thing is certain: keep room for desserts, they are excellent.

1. Lobster bisque - zero actual lobster in it
2. Seafood risotto - Severely undercooked and the mussels had a terrible taste
3. Apple tart tatin - Cooked in what tasted like spoiled oil

My wife’s food was equally as bad, so I won’t share the details. All in all the meal was over 200, due to the wine we ordered.
Not sure how this place has a 4.6. Save your time and money!
Food was great as well, especially Coq au vin!
Definitely recommend for a cozy delicious French dinner!
