This Italian restaurant with its modern, refined decor is located on Chestnut Street, the shopping street in the Marina district. Very popular with San Franciscans, there are two other establishments in California (including one near Union Square). Very welcoming, the pizzas are hearty and the dishes well-stocked. The kitchen is open-plan, with a pizza oven in front of the restaurant, the bar has a wide selection of spirits and you can ask them for any cocktail, which they will prepare in front of you. Advance booking is recommended.

Nice outdoor space and decent food, pizza was a little wet in the center. The service was great though and they allow dogs on the patio.

Would have loved a place to hold my jacket and tote. The seats have no backs and the tables have no hooks so I kind of had to balance everything in my lap which I hated.
Enjoyed my pasta but was not a fan of the capricciosa pizza.

Lots of things on the menu can be made vegan - my vegetarian partner and I were amazed by the capionata, winter greens salad, and veganized bartender pizza! WOW!! ???????? every bite was so much flavor! ???? patio was lovely with wonderful heat lamps. Music was a little loud in our corner but nice!
