Cristina Heeren has realized her big dream: a flamenco theater. After more than 20 years of dedication to teaching and spreading this World Heritage art, the Flamenco Art Foundation she presides over opened its own stage to the public in September 2018. The Triana Flamenco Theater is also the first theater dedicated exclusively to song, dance and guitar in Seville, with daily programming. And, just a few months after opening, it was ranked number 1 on Tripadvisor. With 130 seats (between orchestra and balcony), state-of-the-art technical equipment and a décor that pays homage to Seville in 1929, it is located at 76 Pureza Street, in the heart of the Triana district, thus restoring its historic link with flamenco.

Every evening, the Théâtre Flamenco Triana seeks to bear witness to the vitality of contemporary flamenco dance, giving pride of place to the successful artists who have trained at its school. Every day, artists such as Rafael Campallo, El Choro, Luisa Palicio, Paula Comitre, Alberto Sellés, Lucía la Piñona, Macarena Ramírez or Fernando Jiménez, among others, perform on its stage.

At the same time, the stage also serves as a "post-graduate hall" for the flamenco school, and has already presented numerous demonstrations of the work of final-year students, practical courses and assistantships. It was they who gave the applauded performances at the Talento Flamenco Competition jury deliberations.

The Teatro Flamenco Triana has established itself as a dynamic cultural hub, presenting itself as the only theatrical space exclusively dedicated to flamenco in Seville.
