Bel Ombre is home to Marilyn! Her real name is Marilyn Laura Monroe, America's idol and a star of the kitchen herself. Under the glamorous eye of the Hollywood photos pinned to the walls, she concocts small local dishes based on fresh produce: Creole-style parrot fish, wild boar salmis, venison curry... and above all, ourite, of which Marilyn is as much a fan as the American sagas. In the past, on the day the fishing season reopened, musicians would take over the little hut and there would be nothing but ourite on the menu. It's all about passion!

J'étais là pour prendre un repas en famille mais la dame nous a refusé en disant que c'était déjà fermé.... Quelques minutes plus tard, un autre client est entré et a été servi... Ce n'était pas une bonne approche non plus... Une étoile juste pour écrire un commentaire. S'il vous plaît, nous sommes mauriciens et arrêtons de nous comporter comme des racistes...
Si vous cherchez un endroit pour manger local dans une ambiance décontractée c est l'endroit idéal. La patronne cuisine des produits frais locaux et sera à votre écoute pour s'adapter à vos attentes. Seul le service nécessiterait un petit coup de pouce.
Au contraire des autres commentaires, le service fut rapide et très agréable.
