In La Bréa, almost everything nowadays revolves around asphalt, but fishing and farming are still important activities in this area. There's nothing special to see in this town because of the omnipresent factories. One beach, however, is popular: Vessigny, but locals swim in the river that flows here, free from pollution... Between the oil and the tar, check to see if the beaches are open to bathing! We come to La Bréa to visit the famous asphalt lake called Pitch Lake, one of only three in the world. It's an interesting visit during which you walk around a soft, coal-colored lake.
