This fortress built in the XVth century by Tupac Yupanqui protected the valleys of the attacks of the Chiriguanos. 7 walls surround the site. A long wall would have supported the roof of what was the biggest covered building of the Incas (called Kallanka, of dimensions 26x78 m) in the Qulla Suyu, the province of the Inca Empire which extended from Cuzco until Argentina!
