Altitude : 2 700 m. Although located in the department of Potosí, this superb site is more easily accessible from Cochabamba (5 to 6 hours drive). The access to the park is through the village Torotoro, a peaceful village mainly dedicated to tourism. You will see fossilized dinosaur footprints in the stone, just at the entrance of the village but also scattered everywhere. On August 25, the village celebrates the Tinku ritual, a battle that pits two Quechua communities of the North Potosi against each other. Although forbidden by law, this tradition continues and demonstrates the cultural richness of this country where reality exceeds imagination.
