Joyce, the owner, brings you the flavors of her homeland, with the addition of Creole specialties. Very popular with the locals, it's an opportunity to serve yourself at your convenience and enjoy a good quick meal. Quality and variety are the order of the day. Friday lunchtime is couscous in addition to the buffet, and Saturday is grilled meats.

Don't be fooled into thinking you're enjoying a raclette here. This establishment takes its name from the huge cheese tree just off the Montabo road, which you can spot from a distance. At the foot of the tree, you'll see a friendly team busying themselves around the barbecue preparing their best grilled dishes: fried fish, chicken fricassee, grilled ribs... The list is long and the Creole specialities delicious, to our great delight. We bet you'll even come back for a second course!

Don't let its name fool you, Beirut's Karbet is in fact a restaurant... And a very good one at that! The only Lebanese restaurant in Cayenne, this establishment was created in 2022 by two brothers who had worked for several years in some very good Lebanese restaurants. Building on its success, it has already expanded for 2024 and now occupies a well-decorated room in a nice corner of Cayenne. You'll love discovering the refined flavors, accompanied by a range of mezzes: tabbouleh, cream of eggplant or hummus... The welcome is friendly and pleasant, and well worth discovering!

This Peruvian food truck is well known to local young metropolitans who want to eat well and cheaply, while enjoying caipirinhas! The concept: a team in the truck's kitchen is busy preparing your dish, and will call you on the microphone when it's ready. Set up on the seafront terrace, the place is very simple: plastic table and chairs, a loudspeaker in one corner blaring Latina music, but the good atmosphere is always there!

The only Italian restaurant in Cayenne that doesn't serve pizza is this one! Instead, since 1995, A l'Ithalia has concentrated on fresh pasta and 100% homemade ravioli. The result is simply delicious! All the classic pasta dishes are on offer, and for the ravioli, choose the filling you like and the sauce you fancy. We loved the giraumon and peanut ravioli with curry sauce. As if to finish on a high note, the desserts are also "homemade", and the tiramisu is a real success!
