This 4.3 km loop of trail number 12 can be done in both directions in about 2 hours and 15 minutes, with a height difference of 308 m, accessible in summer and marked. To get started, you have to start behind the tourist office, at the departure station of the sled on rails. Once there, take the path that climbs to the right and progresses under the Mollaret chairlift. It will be necessary to pass the departure station of the Ash chairlift and continue until you pass under a high voltage line. This is where you have to turn right immediately on the Route des Fermes. The next step will be to pass under the Mollaret chairlifts then Lune Bleue, then take the path that passes over the Chalets Mamie and go down on the right to the TS du Soleil Rouge station. Then, you have to go down to the Bergerie du Soleil (Chalets Vial on the map), pass by the water reservoir and go down to the station. Panoramic views and photogenic mountain landscapes will be on display.
