Owned by Marie-Claire and René Tachon since 1640, Domaine de la Merlette is located in Vaux-en-Beaujolais, the village in Gabriel Chevalier's famous novel Clochemerle. Covering 18 hectares, the vineyard produces red and white Beaujolais, Beaujolais-Villages and Côte-de-Brouilly, using state-of-the-art techniques in the service of a deliberately traditional culture. The estate's wines have won numerous awards. A curiosity to discover: sparkling wines with La Bulle de la Merlette and Cuvée Guivrine.
