This castle became a cultural center, which offers many activities and different events throughout the year.

It is a group of buildings from different periods that we call "castle". It was in the 16th century that two aldermen from Lyon - Aymon de la Porte and his son Hugues, printers on rue Mercière - built a "house in the fields" to escape the city. The buildings were modified, notably by Anne de Buffevent in the 17th century, and today they have been renovated, as well as an admirable park with its ponds. Saved from ruin in the 1970s, the castle became a cultural center and offers many activities and events throughout the year.
