Fossiléa is undoubtedly a must-see site in the Beaujolais Geopark, which has been awarded the UNESCO World Geopark label. This fascinating site takes us into the depths of the Beaujolais region to discover its geological treasures and numerous local fossils, with clear, entertaining explanations accessible to all. A botanical garden surrounds the museum, with hundreds of plant species representative of the region. Educational workshops (at extra cost) and other activities enhance the visit. Soon, a new playground will be built nearby, sponsored by the commune of Saint-Jean-des-Vignes. Come and enjoy an enriching family experience!
