CHÂTEAU DE LA CHAIZE
A magnificent estate, one of the most beautiful in Beaujolais and France. With its French garden, the work of Le Nôtre, this château, built by Jules-Hardouin Mansart, has retained its superb appearance over the years. It's the largest single estate in Beaujolais, covering 450 hectares, including 300 hectares of woodland and 150 hectares of vines, with parcel-based cuvées in the Brouilly, Côte de Brouilly, Fleurie and Morgon appellations. The château, its cellar - the longest in the Beaujolais region at 108 meters - and its 18th-century winery are classified as Historic Monuments.
