Facade and red drapes, crystal chandeliers, a cosy atmosphere of the 6th arrondissement family meals and fine terrace, we could say that nothing has changed at Le Théodore for nearly 20 years (anniversary next year). However, under the leadership of the chef Anthony Fusco, Le Théodore slowly makes the switch to a certain modernity while preserving its "classics". Thus, the loyal guests of the place - because the gourmet of the neighbourhood are loyal - can continue to enjoy the signature dishes of this bourgeois cuisine that the whole world envies us: traditional pâté en croûte (duck, calf sweetbread, calf liver, foie gras and pig), a homemade pike quenelle puffed in the oven and its cream of crustaceans, a grilled whole fish or the French beef fillet with saint-marcellin cream. Not to forget the famous Théodore profiteroles… Present-day and fresh seasonal menu with, in this spring, a gravlax-style marinated salmon, avocado and passion dressing, a duckling fillet served medium rare, strong gravy with honey and spices, and finish with a chocolate dome, caramel and peanuts "in the spirit of a snickers". Well-dressed wine list and impeccable service of a house between modernity and tradition.

Un café gourmand plus qu' immonde. Très bons plats si vous avez un palais de doberman...
Cadre néanmoins sympathique malgré du boucan.
Je déconseille catégoriquement ce restaurant.
Le service était catastrophique avec une serveuse désagréable, qui cri dans la salle et qui ne sait pas prendre de commande.
Un couple est resté 2 h sans que personne ne leur serve quoi que ce soit. Les tables étaient trop serrées et on se prenait les serveurs à chaque fois qu'ils servaient quelque chose.
Pour ce qui est de la nourriture, il y avait très peu de quantité et la qualité n'était absolument pas au rendez-vous. Le plat était bon (veau avec purée a la truffe) mais pour le reste, c'est un scandale, fromage non servi et dessert immonde.
De plus, le prix payé à la fin du repas est exorbitant par rapport à ce qu'on nous a servi, il n'y aurait eu aucun problème à payer ce prix si ça en valait le coup.
Moi et ma compagne avons été malades dès le lendemain matin.
Je déconseille fortement ce restaurant malgré un très beau cadre.
Le service, la cuisine et le prix font que ce restaurant est à fuir.
Je n'y retournerai jamais et je vous conseille de ne jamais y mettre les pieds.
We were a group of 8 Asian tourists, 4 adults, 4 kids. We had checked their availability online before venturing into the humiliation. Walking into the empty restaurant with high hopes, we encountered extreme coldness. When prompted if if there was a table for 8, a tall waiter replied “No food” “No food” “No food” with a look of scorn and excessive hand gestures. The colleague by the side echoed by commenting “we are full”.
You can tell that they either discriminate kids, Asians, or tourists, and likely many others.
