STEAK & CO
Futé often hears Lyon inhabitants complaining about the lack of good meat restaurants in the city. But do they know at least that there is one living beyond the Peninsula? It is with great pleasure that {1}Petit Futé{/1} has rediscovered this address, once known under the name "La Maison de l'Entrecôte", taken over by the lovely Lionel Badie - trained at Bocuse's brasseries - who has managed to give a new lease of life to this beautiful house now called Steak&Co. Wide terrace along the Vitton river, but especially superb air-conditioned dinning room, with contemporary decoration carried out by Alain Vavro. A true success that changes from the traditional "meat restaurants". A naturally smiling welcome by a team attentive to our well-being. Of course, the house speciality is meats. The meats are carefully selected among the best breeds: Charolais, Salers, Limousine, Aubras, Angus and Black Angus. Nice cuts for carnivores with a cuisine which respects the products, especially when it comes to cooking: rib steak in the purest tradition, sirloin flank steak with shallots, excellent Italian-style Charolais tartare, beef carpaccio, beef steak without forgetting the must-eat Steakhouse, homemade, with its sauce. Starters (lentils salad, green salad, green salad with walnuts and homemade salad) are complimentary with all meats, fresh chips or homemade purée as much as you want as side dishes, to end with chocolate profiteroles or a Banana completely Split. Pleasant wine list.
