On the cobblestones of Place Saint-Jean, facing the primatial church, a postcard setting on the terrace and in a dining room that's even more beautiful and welcoming after a few renovations that have taken nothing away from the authenticity of the place. Faithful to the best traditions of Lyon, the Auberge des Canuts - a tribute to the silk weavers who were the first to frequent the "bouchons" - and its cheerful team perpetuate the cuisine of the "mothers". Continuous service and long opening hours. Lyonnais specialties and dishes emblematic of the French tradition, using quality ingredients and fresh, preferably local, produce. Dishes 100% home-made by a Maître Restaurateur. Mâchons by reservation.

Service très très moyen : il faut revoir votre service à table, l’art de servir ne s’invente pas.
Musique beaucoup trop forte.
Impossibilité de discuter sans que les serveurs nous fixent ou écoutent, ce n’est pas agréable du tout.
Je ne conseille pas ce bouchon.
La cuisine est excellente.
Le prix reste correcte.

Plats gourmands et de qualité. Service rapide et agréable! On recommande pour finir le repas, le marc de bourgogne au sirop de cassis comme digestif ????
