In the same vein as the famous Boui-Boui, this café-theater under the direction of Stéphane Casez is in a way the cousin of the Croix-Rousse. Opened more than 10 years ago in a former bakery on the plateau, the Rideau Rouge has a small air-conditioned room where people like to come with friends to see a wide variety of shows, happily mixing 100% Lyon comedies and prestigious headliners. The Rideau Rouge has teamed up with the neighboring Café de la Soie to offer complete evenings of dinner and show with an all-inclusive formula. When the Red Curtain rises on the Croix-Rousse, laughter is guaranteed between friends.

The TXR is a popular theatre designed as a place to live. Formerly a village hall, this national stage offers a varied program that reaches a wide audience, from committed plays to the great classics.
