And when a great woman leaves - well, not too far away... -another arrives to perpetuate the tradition of the "mères lyonnaises", of which the famous Arlette is not the last! In the 138 years that this gourmet institution has existed, 5 women have succeeded one another behind the stoves. The latest is Paola. Trained by Arlette, and supported by her friend and partner Fatima in the dining room, Paola will continue to delight us with her famous chicken in vinegar or blood sausage with candied apples, in a decor that's a little outdated (will they dare touch it? remains to be seen). All, of course, accompanied by Morgon. Le bouchon des " mères ".

Le bouchon lyonnais parfait! Le visuel avec la façade, la déco intérieure bois et art déco, le personnel souriant et efficace, l'olfactif avec les volutes de saveurs crachées par la petite cuisine, la chaleur du lieu augmentée par les pots lyonnais qui défilent, des vins top, une cuisine lyonnaise typique et parfaite, servie toujours à bonne température et tout ça pour 32 euros le menu! On reviendra

Un vrai bouchon lyonnais tenu par des filles très sympathiques et charmantes … les plats défilent préparés à la demande dans la petite cuisine à côté de la salle ! Tout est bien ne changer rien ???????? on reviendra rapidement

Très bon bouchon, typique, avec un service très chaleureux. Le Morgon ne m'a pas emballé, mais le poulet au vinaigre est très bon et la tarte aux pralines est excellente.
