THE HALLS
Halls / Market
Recommended
The village is first part of the seigneury of the Forest des Halles before its transformation into donated of Fenoyl. It remains connected to the parish of Haute-Rivoire until 1769 when Laurent-François Gayardon, Earl of Fenoyl, obtains the creation of a separate parish called Les Halles-le-Fenoyl. It fully benefits from its situation on the Lyon-Bordeaux route created in 1777 (today the D 489) and the proximity of the coal basin of Sainte-Foy-le'Argentière.
