Very pleasant restaurant with terrace on the old market place of Julienas.
Le Coq is 100 years old! A happy and dashing centenary for this beautiful house installed on the old market place of Julienas since 1923. Marie Dias perpetuates the best of the tradition by welcoming us on the small, but very pleasant, terrace or in a room where we can admire every detail, notably the ceramic fresco of Alain Girel. Living well, eating well, that's what Le Coq is all about, where you can savor the delicious, tasty and generous local cuisine prepared by the chef Marie Dias. A Coq that can be proud of what it offers to gourmets.

Bonne cuisine avec une bonne mise en valeur du produit, porc ou coq…. Etc Belle carte des vins, intérieur chaleureux et traditionnel, service correct. Menus du jour les midis de semaine sympas. Tout Petit bémol car nous sommes venus plusieurs fois et il semblerait que la carte et les menus ne soient pas renouvelés très souvent.

Pour une soirée anniversaire qui semblait être bien organisée pour avoir réservé les menus à l'avance, comme on nous l'avait demandé par les responsables.
Nous avons été très déçus par une salle privative inexistante alors que nous étions 14 à table.
Serveuses peu professionnelles et absentes lors des demandes.
Repas réservés en amont, pour ne pas avoir dans l'assiette ce que nous avions commandé....
Présentation non gastronomique et menus non économiques!
Vin- vinaigre qui ne convient pas avec le prix !

Was visiting the Beaujolais region for wine tasting and only had one meal opportunity.it was wasted.
Ordered the 3 course. But everything was forgettable, and the coq au vin was poor. Chicken was dry, and taste was rather unbalanced and forgetable.
