Wonderful. Obviously wonderful when you are called Gatsby. Complete renovation last year for an institution (the Alpexpo hotel) ideally located in the East of Lyon, between the airport of Lyon-Bron and Eurexpo, not far from Parc OL, and easily accessible by the A43 and the eastern ring road (closed parking for your car). But it isn't the accesses that will fascinate you when you discover the Gatsby hotel, it is the look of this splendid place where all the pleasures of a Lyon stay are combined. Roaring twenties decor for a "dream and entertainment" hotel. Nothing is missing in our happiness: comfortable and well-equipped rooms, a beautiful and heated outdoor swimming pool, a fitness room to keep fit, a quality restaurant where the chef cooks good fresh products presented in beautiful jars, a breakfast that meets your expectations with delicious pastries, bread, yogurt from a farm in Genas, an astonishing bar with a bowling alley (yes, you read that right!), billiards, table football, flipper, ping-pong and "the roulette" of the chef to drink while always winning something... But also the 10 "Happy Culture" services, essential to 21st-century travellers: Nespresso coffee machine, phone chargers, concierge service, sitting room with Wi-Fi, umbrella loan… Possibility of organising seminars up to 200 people. A wonderful hotel.

I feel like I was scammed. Because of the happy culture thing, there are a lots of cuts in budget, no proper service, no proper staff (we went on Saturday), the pool is disappointing, the buffet is poor, the games are half functional, the location is bad and far. You'll be continuously disturbed by the factories sounds (industrial Zone)
I discourage you to go to this hotel or any happy culture scam hotels, you pay and you get things not worth what you pay.
