Indispensable at weekends, unmissable during the week, Valferme is located on the other bank of the Rhône, a short distance from Ampuis. A gourmet stop held in association by some twenty producers who have been taking turns selling their products for over 20 years. You can come and do your shopping between the well-stocked shelves, while lovers of organic farming are not forgotten. Seasonal vegetables, bread, fruits, cheeses, sausages, honeys, nuts and by-products, but also poultry and, of course, wines from the region.

Le Caveau du Château is a unique wine tourism experience in the Rhône Valley. In a grandiose setting - the Clos Joly, a ^19th-century building - a magnificent cellar to discover 4 great houses: Maison Guigal, Château de Nalys, Maison Vidal-Fleury and Domaine de Bonserine. At the Musée du Caveau, learn about the history of local viticulture, oenology and cooperage. Tasting of the region's prestigious wines: Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Hermitage, Cornas, Saint-Joseph... Numerous events and the possibility of organizing seminars and conventions.

The time has come (name of a Domaine cuvée) to drink the best wines in the world! Côte-Rôtie from an estate worked plot by plot by an expert in the field: Stéphane Ogier. A magnificent cellar with a panoramic view over the vineyards and an exceptional terroir. From a family of winegrowers handed down from father to son for 7 generations, with 14 hectares of vines, notably in Ampuis, Stéphane Ogier achieves real prowess on each plot with its own particularities. His favorite wines are Lancement and Belle Hélène. A must-try.

Bernard Levet, following four generations of winegrowers, has devoted himself since 1983 to the unique but renowned Côte-Rôtie. His 4.5 ha of vines - under integrated viticulture - are divided into 11 plots, the majority of which have been planted for more than 35 years, on the sites of "Landonne" - cuvée Maestria -, "Chavaroche" - cuvée La Péroline. Cuvée Améthyste of a beautiful intensity. Tannins well present. Aromas of red fruits (blackcurrant, raspberry, blackberry) and animal spices (musk, leather) characterize this côte-rôtie which only needs to age.

At the head of this family estate we find Carmen and Jean-François well supported by their sons Liz and Fabien. The vineyard is divided into two parts: in the blonde producing a soft, high wine from 18 to 24 months. The other side is in-brune and produces a stronger wine.

A 10-hectare family estate run by brothers Patrick and Christophe that produces Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu. The Condrieu Côte Châtillon is partly barrel-aged. It's a wine with golden highlights, smooth and candied. Parcels on the Rozier and Rochins hillsides produce the bulk of the Côte-Rôtie. The former is a fine wine with aromas of red fruits and spices, while the cuvée Les Rochins is well-balanced, with vanilla and red fruit flavors and a long finish. And let's not forget Sensation du Nord: a Viognier and a Syrah at the very edge of the appellation.

This small area of 2 ha offers a toast-toast 2004 "La Brocarde" coast, which is situated in the upper-brune, high 24 to 26 months in a new oak barrel. A toast 2005, assembly of different plots on the appellation, high in oak drum for 18 months.

A beautiful family story, since the Barge family has been winemakers since 1860! Julien took over the family business in 2019. He cultivates in a thoughtful tradition - respecting nature with a method of "partnership" with plants and animals - 5.70 ha in the Côte-Rôtie appellation, from which the Duplessy cuvée and the Côte-Brune come. Also 1 ha of Condrieu and 1.50 ha of red and white Saint Joseph. Four spacious guest rooms in a beautiful village house complete the address with swimming pool and terrace.

SCEA Domaine Pichat is a vineyard located in Ampuis, in the Rhône region. It offers a wide range of quality wines, made from local grape varieties such as Syrah and Viognier. The estate is open to the public and offers guided tours and tastings. Visitors can discover the different stages of wine production, from vine to cellar, and learn more about the winemaking techniques used. The estate also has a boutique where visitors can purchase wines produced on site.
