This ancient theater is an emblematic monument of the Vienne region, hosting the most famous of jazz festivals every year.

Vienna's landmark. This gigantic theater, considered one of the most important in antiquity, held some 13,000 spectators in Roman times. Although the stage wall has disappeared, the theater is still a splendid place, and its restoration has restored its entertainment function. A recent grooming has made it even more beautiful and safer to welcome the public. It's in this ancient theater that the most famous of jazz festivals, Jazz à Vienne, is held every year at the beginning of July, along with numerous other shows.

Magnifique lieu pour un concert
Pensez à amener une galette de chaise ou un petit coussin pour vos fesses
Parking un peu loin car le théâtre est enclavé dans le centre ville
Très long pour repartir car une seule route pour rejoindre l’autoroute

Magnifique endroit! Surtout la vue depuis le belvédère de Pipet juste au-dessus. Idéal pour un concert au jazz à Vienne, le panorama avec la musique et le coucher de soleil rendent le moment exceptionnel et unique!

Magnifique endroit à ne pas manquer lors dela visite de Vienne. Petit bémol échafaudages d'une fête précédente en cours d'enlèvement ce qui nous a un peu empêché d'apprécier le decor.
