This building, located in the commune of Saint-Savin, consists of a well-preserved circular keep.

This building, located in the town of Saint-Savin, was built on the site of a 10th century wooden castle overlooking the town. The construction of the stone castle dates back to the 13th century. Fief of the powerful Alleman family for three centuries, it is the birthplace of Hélène Alleman, the mother of the famous Chevalier Bayard. The castle consists of a well-preserved circular keep linked to three corner towers by a crenellated surrounding wall. It has undergone many transformations up to the present day. It is currently being restored.
