This castle perched on the western slope of the Relong hill bears witness to over 1,000 years of history.

Perched on the western slope of the Relong hill (344 m), the Fallavier castle bears witness to more than 1000 years of history. Overlooking Saint-Quentin, La Verpillière and Villefontaine, it is a real place of strength. Since 1992, the municipality of Saint-Quentin-Fallavier is the owner of the castle which is freely accessible at certain times. Medieval animations, orientation table and route with "flash codes" to visit the ramparts and dungeon. For fans of the series Kaamelot, it is whispered that it is here that the filming would have been partly made.

Opening time and information on FALLAVIAN CASTLE

Open from April to October. Low season, open on Sundays and holidays from 2.30pm to 6pm. In July and August, same hours as well as Saturday afternoons. Free of charge.

Nous y sommes allés avec les enfants pendant les journées du patrimoine. Les restes du château sont intéressants, et il y avait ce jour-là des animations très sympa!
