Magasin devoting its entire space to a program of temporary contemporary art exhibitions.
The Magasin is showing its colors. And not just because its doors open in an unmistakable horizon blue, but because this emblematic cultural venue opens them wide, for adults and children alike (children's workshops, nursery area). Created in 1986 on the initiative of François Mitterrand, the Magasin is housed in a 3,000m2 industrial hall built by the Eiffel workshops. The Magasin has no permanent collection, and devotes its entire space to programming temporary exhibitions of contemporary art (closed for one month between each show). Workshops. Guided tours on Saturdays and Sundays.
