Grenoble's "bubbles", France's famous cable car, take you to a wide range of activities at Fort de la Bastille.
Take a bubble of oxygen. Inaugurated in 1934, the Bastille cable car takes you from the quays of the Isère to the Fort de la Bastille, 260 m above sea level, in 6 minutes. Contemplative visitors will be delighted by the exceptional panorama. Active visitors will find plenty to do, especially in summer. Museum, art center, Acrobastille, via ferrata, restaurants... Open all year round, except from 6/01/2025 to 07/02/2025. Timetable on site. Adults €9.60, children €5 return.

Take a deep breath and hop in the cable car! Hanging in the air for a couple of minutes, you’ll be flying over Grenoble’s old rooftops before you discover the city at large facing changing mountain ranges.
Views from the top
Whether it is day or night, landscapes are breathtaking up there. Views from the terraces show horizons with no limits other than Chartreuse, Vercors, Belledonne, Oisans up to Mont Blanc tops. Take a trip to La Bastille to relax and get fresh air, you will come back for more discoveries, when sight gets lost way beyond mountain tops.

It's a must visit in Grenoble, no matter the season.
Die Bubbles fahren bis in die Nacht hoch, Sonnenuntergang von dort anschauen ist auf jeden Fall großartig. Früh fahren sie nicht so zeitig los.
Preis ist ok, ca 8€/Erwachsener.
Die Fahrt dauert nur paar Minuten aber ist es wert. Oben kann man bleiben so lange man will.
