Water is a vital resource that must be protected for our health, and shared for the well-being of all. Grenoble Alpes Métropole manages drinking water and wastewater services for the 49 communes in its territory. 85% of the population is lucky enough to drink water of exceptional quality from the Drac and Romanche aquifers. Captured on protected sites and naturally filtered by sand and gravel, this water requires no treatment. The Metropole also uses mountain springs for 15% of the population. Our community services
One of the missions of SPL EAUX DE GRENOBLE ALPES is to provide an exemplary, high-performance public service across the entire water cycle.

EAUX DE GRENOBLE ALPES CERTIFIED FOR QUALITY, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT
In January 2017, Eaux de Grenoble Alpes obtained triple Quality Safety Environment certification, which perpetuates the ISO 9001 quality approach undertaken for many years and adds the complementary ISO 14001 certification on environmental protection and OHSAS 18001 on worker health and safety.
These certifications reflect the importance we place on satisfying our various stakeholders (users, community shareholders, suppliers, etc.), improving the working conditions of our employees, contributing to sustainable development and reducing our environmental impact, as well as promoting solidarity and fighting discrimination.
Our integrated Quality, Safety and Environment management system reflects our commitment to providing a high-quality public service, while remaining attentive to the needs of our customers and partners.

Water quality
Nothing is more controlled than tap water! Every year, the ARS (Agence Régionale de Santé) and Eaux de Grenoble Alpes carry out over 5,000 measurements.
Thanks to continuous monitoring, all residents served by Eaux de Grenoble Alpes benefit from drinking water that meets the quality standards set by the French Public Health Code - standards that are even more stringent than those set by the World Health Organization. A real guarantee of quality and food safety for you and your family!
