LES BOURRONS COUCHUS

Opened in 1985, this was the first farmers' store in the Ardèche, set up in the former premises of the Joyeuse railway station. Come and fill your basket with seasonal fruit and vegetables, meat and cheese, wine and other Ardèche specialities. Products come from farms in the Cévennes, Plateau, Coiron and Gras regions. In case you're wondering, the name is an anagram of cochons bourrus, the name of the founding group of the meat-processing workshop in Rosières, whose creation gave rise to the direct sales project.
