THE CASTLE AND THE RIPERT TOWER
Go there and contact
The castle has a square tower 17 m high and 7 m wide, with three floors and a terrace.
Close to the original town of Valréas: Château Ripert, Château Dauphin and Château Saint-Jean. The last two were destroyed in the 15th and 19th centuries. A few ruins remain of Château Ripert, including the keep known as the Tour Ripert or "Tour de l'Horloge". This square tower, 17 m high and 7 m wide, has three storeys and a terrace. Magnificent views from the top of the tower, with an orientation table. We recommend a visit to the Chapelle des Pénitents blancs.
