PARK AND GARDEN OF THE CASTLE OF BRANTES
Florentine-inspired park with Anduze vases, terraces and a garden featuring mirror pools adorned with statuary at Sorgues.
Beyond the main gate and the pavilion's handsome facade lies a Florentine-inspired park, with its boxwood patterns and terraces. Enclosed by a pebble wall, the garden plays with carefully traced perspectives. The ponds unfurl like a ribbon of water over a boxwood-edged lawn (the imprint of Danish landscape designer Mogens Tvede, who worked here in 1959). Ecocert-certified educational garden. Europe's oldest Grandiflora magnolia, two hundred years old.
