A family estate, the first to be certified biodynamic in the Gigondas and Vacqueyras appellations, Domaine Montirius is the brainchild of Manon, Justine and Marius, the three children of the 6th generation, and covers the Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Côtes du Rhône and IGP Vaucluse appellation areas. Fifth in a generation of winegrowers, Christine and Eric took over the family estate in 1986. They converted their 67-hectare estate and, six years later, invested in a new winery. Their wines include Le Garrigue in Vacqueyras and Le Terre des aînés in Gigondas.
