The 27 hectares of La Soumade are run by the Romero family. They went organic in 2024. They are located in the commune of Rasteau (25 ha) and 2 ha on terraces near Gigondas. The clay-limestone soils produce naturally powerful wines, built for ageing. The wines are made from grapes of excellent ripeness, and are unanimously acclaimed by tasters in France and far beyond. Discover their Vin Doux Naturel grenat or Vin Naturel ambré, which are a delight with chocolate, melon or foie gras.
