This castle is one of the three major residences of the Luberon, with those of Ansouis and the Tour d'Aigues

Château de Lourmarin is one of three castles on the route des châteaux du sud Luberon, along with Ansouis and Tour d'Aigues. Castles built by the powerful families of the Comtes de Forcalquier. One part of this magnificent building dates from the 15th century, the other from the mid-16th and early Renaissance periods. Visits are free, and for families, a free treasure hunt is available for children and adults to discover the site in a fun way. Numerous explanatory panels line the tour route.

Très déçu par cette visite. Beaucoup trop cher pour ce qu'il y a à y voir.. visite faite en 20 minutes. Aucune explication sur le château en question.
Dommage car il y a du potentiel.
En gros une arnaque à touristes. Nous n'y reviendrons pas!

Château de Lourmarin is een prachtig kasteel in goede staat. Er zijn veel interessante kamers met originele inrichting en meubels. Voor kinderen is er een leuke speurtocht, waardoor het bezoek ook voor hen boeiend en leuk was. Echt een bezoek waard – zowel voor volwassenen als voor gezinnen met kinderen!

Une jolie surprise ! Le château et ses objets sont bien conservés, les explications sont juste de la longueur qu'il faut (on a assez d'informations sans être assommés), et le personnel est adorable. Un petit détour à faire si vous passez par Lourmarin (la visite dure entre 45 minutes et 1h selon si vous voulez prendre votre temps ou pas)
