Astronomical observatory with a remarkable 635 mm telescope, the first device in the world accessible to everyone.

The former missile launch site on the Albion plateau (1100 m above sea level) has been transformed into an astronomical observatory. The 635 mm-diameter telescope is the first in the world to be accessible to everyone: an excellent way to discover the starry sky. There are also a number of events, especially during the summer: themed astronomy days on the Plateau d'Albion, Starry Night in August with shooting star counts... Make a wish!
