Charming and romantic hotel with lush garden in Avignon.

Delivered by Cardinal de Pellegrue in the 14th century, then Maison de Vervins in the 17th century, Hôtel Pamard in the 18th, this beautiful residence became La Mirande in 1990, a charming, romantic and refined hotel. The Stein family has worked hard to bring this private home back to life, where time seems to have stood still. The living rooms open onto a charming, lush garden. The rooms are inspired by the spirit of the Age of Enlightenment, decorated with care, right down to the wall hangings, re-editions of antique prints. Everything is perfect, right down to Florent Pietravalle's Michelin-starred table.

Beautiful La Mirande hotel in Avignon||I stayed in La Miranda during early November for 8 nights.||This is the third times staying in this same hotel, every time I came Avignon I stayed in La Mirande. I think it is the best hotel in Avignon. Located in center of Avignon.||The reception team is helpful, friendly and considerate, always made me feel like home. The staffs Melina & Anthony both have a high standard for serving hotel guest in all aspect.||The house keeping team is excellent, morning and evening times when I came back to hotel, always tidy and towels changed, bottle water prepared. The house keeping ladies are very polite too.||The room is excellent well decorated, comfortable and very quiet in evening times.||I tried their La Restaurant inside the hotel, that's amazing French Gastronomy dinning experience by renowned chef Florent. ||Breakfast's place is beautiful, outside is garden.|Their lobby is my favour spot in the hotel, charming and cozy for reading or relaxing, Tea cake choices during tea time is excellent too, a lot tea choices.||The hotel itself is not a fancy luxury hotel, it is prestige, sophisticated, and luxury in a subtle way.

One of the best ever hotels I've stayed in. Crazy way to enter via narrow cobblestone streets but they'll talk you in. Unbeatable. Incredibly charming and sophisticated place.

A beautiful hotel with old world charm. The rooms are lovely and unique. The front desk staff was very helpful! Remy and Anthony were extremely kind and helpful with many travel issues we encountered.
Driving to the hotel is tricky. Make sure you secure information from the hotel before attempting to navigate the labyrinth of "streets" inside the city wall. Miranda the cat was an added treat for us!
