This youth hostel with panoramic views of the Pont Saint-Bénezet and the Palais des Papes is located inside the campsite on Barthelasse Island, a five-minute walk from the city center. The residence offers dormitories with four, six or eight beds, and eight rooms with showers for two to four people. Sanitary facilities are on the landing, but some rooms have showers. Half-board and full-board options are also available.

(come ostello):. La struttura è sporca, con personale al limite della simpatia,cibo scarso ma nella media, pochi servizi rispetto al numero di stanze(ma abbastanza , puliti).docce gelide.
Unica nota positiva , la posizione che permette di raggiungere rapidamente il centro. Ottima vista sul fiume e sulla città.

Grazie all' Ostello di Avignone e in particolare alla proprietaria,Signora Christine.Posizione spettacolare ,sul Rodano ,di fronte al complesso architettonico.La camera singola che mi ha ospitato per tre notti era molto pulita,bella vista,bagno interno piacevole,tutto l' occorrente per la distensione al ritorno dalle visite.All' interno del complesso, servizi per facilitare il soggiorno del viaggiatore,come una efficiente lavanderia automatica .Una nota particolare: la cordialità e la disponibilità della Signora Christine. Accoglie al mattino gli ospiti con sorriso e scambia amabili conversazioni,sentendosi accolti ed iniziando con armonia la giornata tra le bellezze di questo angolo di Provenza.Ottima esperienza!
