Campsite at 15 minutes walk from the historical centre of Avignon.

Located on Barthelasse Island, this shaded 4-star Terracamps campsite with swimming pool offers a breathtaking view of the Popes' Palace and Avignon Bridge. Take advantage of the 500m2 aquatic area, snack-bar-restaurant and entertainment to relax and unwind. The campsite is open from April to early November. Pets are welcome free of charge. There's an area for camper vans, as well as games and entertainment for children in the form of a club all summer long.

Very friendly, safe campsite,good plot for motorhome. Green and shaded with tall trees.easy access to town by walk or bicycle.Very nice pool,tennis,volleyball. Small bar restaurant onsite, but can be noisy so ask for plots further away,looking at Avignon Pont as I type this (plot116).Can definitely recommend here tho,we came for a night but stayed a week. Only downside is the bar and laundry area could do with lick of paint/modernising.toilets clean and showers hot,again could needmodernising. Great site
July 2025- Arrival staff fantastic, freindly, helpful. Returned after 10years, bit shocked place still overgrown with bush &trees. I know some like shade but this made it very depressive dark. asked to move plot,at least had some sun.Toilets badly need upgrade paint. cleaned daily but smell, dont park close.The laundry &small shop not changed either,needs revamp, paint,very run down,broken fence. Pool is fine.

Ich liege hier bereits die zweite Nacht in Folge nach Mitternacht noch wach im Bett und kann diesen schrecklichen open air Techno nebenan nicht mehr ertragen. Der Platz liegt so schön in der Natur und dann so etwas….

Camping en perte de vitesse, eau qui croupit dans les caniveaux du réseau routier = moustiques et odeur nauséabonde dans les sanitaires + bruits (indépendant du camping mais bruits quand même)

Es gibt Leute, die würden es Betrug nennen, wenn man mit einem solchen Platz vorgaukelt, 4-Stern-Niveau zu haben. Insgesamt ist alles schmuddelig, heruntergekommen, ungepflegt, teilweise kaputt und schmutzig. Im Restaurant verschlissenes Mobiliar, Spinnweben wohin man blickt. Der Einkaufsladen gleicht vom Sortiment her einer Dorftankstelle. Die Sanitäranlagen sind uralt und furchtbar heruntergekommen. Zudem viel zu wenige: Fast immer muss man für den Toilettengang anstehen. Wir sind dann frühzeitig abgereist. Die Dame an der Reception fragte, ob alles in Ordnung gewesen wäre. Ich habe oben geschriebenes zusammengefasst moniert. Die Reaktion war weder verständnisvoll noch entschuldigend noch finanziell (alles vorausbezahlt) kulant, sondern schlicht: „D‘accord, au revoir.“ Man scheint also bewusst Gäste mit der Viersterne-Website anzulocken und dann frustriert wieder fahren zu lassen.
