Le Bagatelle has many strings to its bow, with the added advantage of a pleasant setting on the banks of the Rhône, a 5-minute walk from the town center, with views of the Pont Saint-Bénézet and the Palais des Papes. The campsite is family-friendly, with two restaurants, two bars, a grocery store and a games room. The hostel offers single rooms and dormitories. At the hotel, the renovated rooms are comfortable and equipped with showers and WCs.

Die sanitären Anlagen sollten umfassend renoviert werden. Unter anderem: die Duschkabinen sind zu klein, die Toiletten haben keine Brillen.
Die Stromversorgung auf den Stellplätzen ist mangelhaft.

The campsite is ideally located for a visit to Avignon centre. Within site of the famous bridge and Papal Palace the site is on the west bank of the Rhone. Good amenities, clean facilities. The WiFi was a bit hit and miss. There was a fair amount of noise including an outdoor music event nearby and yapping and barking dogs. For a short visit to the city it is ideal.
