Gérald Azoulay offers a subtle blend of Provençal and Peruvian cuisine at an excellent table in the heart of Avignon
This is one of Avignon's oldest gastronomic restaurants, opened in 1938 and awarded a Michelin green star, synonymous with eco-responsible gastronomy. Gérald Azoulay, a demanding chef who draws his inspiration from Provence, his native land, as well as from Peru, the homeland of his wife Patricia, uses the market to determine his menus and formulas. An invitation to travel to Perouvence, a land of subtle, refined flavors, of the unexpected when spices flirt with local vegetables, fish and meats. The restaurant is upstairs.
