Restaurant where the chef works with simple products to magnify them with talent, a few steps from the palace in Avignon.

Just a stone's throw from the palace, in the former home of the Camérier des Papes, stands the Maison de Christian Étienne, one of the emblematic figures of regional gastronomy. In 2016, Mr. Étienne retired, and his second-in-command of many years, Guilhem Sevin, took over the reins of excellence, renaming the place Restaurant Sevin. The chef works with simple products, magnifying them with talent. As for the dining room, Corinne is the lady of the house, bringing her feminine touch to the floral decoration - she's a former florist!

Déjà de passage professionnel en octobre, j'y suis retournée avec mon conjoint pour le menu tout tomates. C'était un sans faute, autant le menu que les vins, bien conseillés par Guilhem.
Au plaisir de revenir pour le menu truffes, et le cadre magnifique du restaurant et du vieil Avignon.

I got sat at my table and then waited 30 minutes without receiving a menu. They appeared to be quite understaffed. I would have preferred to be turned away at the door than have my time wasted. I also spoke with the manager and he refused to apologize or take any responsibility.
